[Closed] Antoinette

Hi guys! Kayden here back with another review! Today, I will be bringing you the Crème De La Crème of french pâtisserie, Antoinette. This has become one of my favorite places to have desserts due to its posh and cozy environment.

Disclaimer: I think Antoinette is better known for their desserts and so I didn’t order their mains. I was attracted to the desserts section immediately when I saw it because it was sooooo prettyyyy!

Desserts:

Charlotte IV $9

Looking good is one thing but tasting good is another! This however, achieves both perfectly! It’s super smooth and soft with a vanilla sweetness. and there’s even a hidden secret. Inside this sphere, there’s strawberry filling! :3 The slight tanginess and sweetness of the strawberry combined with the smooth and creamy texture of the outer sphere just makes it so heavenly. Definitely one of the best desserts I ever had in my life!

Monotone $9

To me, this is the darker and richer version of the sphere dessert shown previously. It has the same soft and creamy texture but monotone is made of chocolate mousse! Although the ingredient states milk chocolate, I found it way too bitter for my tastebuds! If you are someone who likes their chocolate slightly bitter but not till the extent of dark chocolate, this is a must-try imo!

*Update*

I finally got to try La Rose on my fourth visit and although it costs $15, the presentation of the pastry with its delicate petals definitely makes up for it. La Rose is another chocolate variant of Antoinette’s desserts but this time around it is legit milk chocolate that tastes sweet!

Conclusion:

Service provided was good as waiters constantly asked if drinks need to be refilled. All in all, Antoinette is a fantastic cafe for afternoon tea or after meal dessert.

PS My favourite remains to be Charlotte IV :3
